You can’t WISH your way to success and the lifestyle you dream about.
You have to work for it. If you want your life to go down a different path, you have to come up with a game plan for change and get to work.
You can do and be and have anything you want in life my friend.
But it’s more than the whole wishing thing. Wishing isn’t going to give you the life you want.
If you’ll get real about what it takes however, man o man! Watch out because here you come!
Let’s talk about getting REAL
Real about your conversations.
Real about your mindset.
Real about the work it takes to make it happen.
Real about the excuses you’re making
Real about the fear of failure looming.
Real about the determination it takes to succeed.
Real about the consequences of never facing reality.
So many conversations I hear as I’m out and about in public contains poverty thoughts and mindsets. People are oblivious to the fact that day in and day out, they create their reality through the words, thoughts, beliefs and daily habit and actions they engage in.
It doesn’t matter where I’m at; could be the doctor’s office, in line at the grocery store, at the gym, at church, etc.. Everyone has a sob story. Everyone has troubles. And people love to focus on and talk about their problems.
Now, I’m not minimizing people’s struggles. I know what struggle is, believe me. However, it doesn’t serve you to focus on them, dwell on them or otherwise give them any energy.
Focus on solutions, goals and your ideal outcome.
People seem to be miserable in their circumstances and their conversations are full of “wishing”. The only action step people are taking in response, is WISHING!
- They WISH they could do this or that.
- They WISH they could buy this or that.
- They WISH they had the money to go here.
- They WISH they could quit their jobs.
- They WISH they could travel more.
- They WISH they had money to buy better health care.
- They WISH they had money to send the kids to college.
- They WISH they had more time for hobbies.
- The WISH, WISH, WISH!
Yet….they don’t follow that wish with the right mindset or action steps.
In order to have something change in one’s life, one needs to do something different.
Go a different road.
And change is hard which is why most will keep the status quo. Changing your thinking, behaviors and habits is the hard!
Today, lottery sales are booming. (And so are alcoholic beverage sales, but that’s a whole separate issue.) And why wouldn’t they be. The economy has tanked and the ship is still sinking. Unemployment is through the roof and is still rising. People are starting to panic.
Everybody is looking for the magic pill to make their problems go away. This is tragic and it’s not the mindset of the lifestyle entrepreneur. They want to get rich quick, kick back, relax. No pain, no worries, everything will be fine.
Well, if this is what you’re looking for, there are two old adages that apply.
First, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
The second adage is no pain, no gain.
The fact is my friend, that nothing comes easy. There are no short cuts to success–period.
Hard work, dedication, and motivation are all common denominators for creating your lifestyle income.
The word “rich” means different things to different people. I know many people who live rich lives because they’ve discovered how to create income using the internet and will never have to be dependent on an employer or the government.
There is of course a lot more involved.
The bottom line is that if you want to get rich, however you define that, you first need to get real about what it takes.
You know my friend, the internet today is like California during the gold rush. There’s No Recession Online!
Everybody wants to hit the mother lode, and everybody is staking a claim.
But just like the prospector who has to sift though dirt to find a gold nugget, so too must the internet entrepreneur sift through hype to find real opportunities.
The internet is a business tool, not a magic wand. A serious entrepreneur who wants to launch a serious business–and make serious money–can do so on the internet.
But a desperate person seeking a quick fix for existing financial problems will simply create more financial problems. And lose a ton of cash in the process.
A successful business is pretty simple.
- Create or offer a great product or service.
- Find a hungry market.
- Get your message in front of the masses.
- Attract prospects and make sales.
- Deliver exceptional value.
- Get paid.
Simple? YES because it makes sense to the concept is simple to understand.
Easy? NO because it takes work but the rewards are worth the life you want!
Running any kind of legitimate offline business requires operational expertise, a financial investment–and a lot of hard work.
A legitimate internet business is no different, for the most part at least. However, there are some important differences like….
- Since you don’t need a store front or an office, the capital investment is less than for a bricks-and-mortar enterprise.
- Commuting costs and other workplace expenses are completely eliminated.
- There are no occupancy costs.
- Payroll is typically kept to a minimum or eliminated altogether.
The other difference is that because of the vast reach of the internet marketplace, it is not uncommon for successful entrepreneurs to share their wisdom.
An online business might not be for everybody, especially if you have a lottery based mentality and are looking to “get rich quick.” But if you’re seriously considering venturing into the world of legitimate online business, use your common sense and connect with reputable online business owners.
Find out what they’re doing.
Learn about different products and services offered through network marketing and find a match for you.
This may be a good first start for you.
Then, take your profits, and invest into other financial vehicles. You’ll want to get with your financial planner for advice based on your risk tolerance.
Robert Kiyosaki, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Donald Trump and a slew of other entrepreneur extraordinaires agree that network marketing is a perfect small business to step into for all people of all ages and backgrounds.
So while I personally have my hands in other financial interests, money making hobbies and entrepreneurial endeavors, I keep a network marketing and direct sales model in my wealth portfolio.

I wish you ALL the best in life my friend.
