How to Make a Blog Post

How to make a blog post on your Empower Network blog

I made this video tutorial for my team members in Empower Network. 

The basic membership product for Empower Network is a WordPress blog. 

Many of my team members have never blogged before or have blogged on other blogs but not on the Empower Network blog. 

Blogging on the Empower Network blog works the same as any other WordPress blog.

And if you have never blogged before and don’t even know what a WordPress blog is… that’s ok. 

WordPress is the brand, or theme of the blog platform.  And for the most part, all blogs, regardless of their brand basically work the same. 

What makes them different, is adding various ‘plugins’ (features that make your blog do something).

The good news is this.  If you can write a letter on your computer, you can write a blog post.  It’s really simple because you just start typing.

• You can highlight words and bold….
• You can highlight words and underline…
• You can highlight words and italicize…
• You can highlight words and ‘hyperlink’ to another blog post or site…
• You can add pictures and videos…
• and so much more….

Everything you need to all these things is on the the menu above this work space.  You should recognize it because it’s just about the same layout as your word document program on your computer.
