You know, it's a wonderful thing to see a dream of a business come to fruition and I wanted to do a follow up to my previous article.

For those who are thinking of starting their own business of any kind, I hope this article inspires you to reach for your dreams.

As you can see, Sprout & Pour are now having their grand opening but have been opened since the first week in November, 2014.

Here's the press release

Grand Opening Celebration: Saturday, Dec. 13

Homewood, AL— Nutrition has never been so delicious or convenient! Sprout & Pour, Birmingham’s only cold-pressed juicery, is proud to debut its family owned brick and mortar juice bar in the heart of Edgewood.

With something for the whole family, Sprout & Pour is committed to providing delicious and nutritious juices and smoothies made from fresh local produce.

Located at 927 Oxmoor Rd., Homewood, AL, Sprout & Pour offers a variety of cold-pressed artisan juices, whole-food smoothies, cold brew coffee, plus raw food snacks at its new retail store location. The juicery welcomes the community to its Grand Opening Celebration, Saturday, December 13 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Guests will be treated to samples of cold-pressed juice, whole-food hors d’oeuvres and music in the new juice bar.

Locally owned by husband and wife, Amanda and Andrew Turner, Sprout & Pour has grown rapidly since the business started in April 2014 at a Saturday stand inside Pepper Place Market.

"The initial response from the community has been amazing and we look forward to expanding into new markets and making Sprout & Pour available across the Birmingham and surrounding areas very soon," said Amanda Blake Turner, Owner/Founder of Sprout&Pour.

Every bottle of juice is hand-crafted in Edgewood using locally-sourced Alabama and southeastern produce without added sugar, fillers, flavors, or pasteurization. The colorful portfolio of juices includes: Spring, Sunrise, Quench, Cashew Milk, BeetNik, and lemon Zing.

The whole-food smoothie varieties are packed with nutrition by blending fresh almond milk and nuts with vegetables and fruit. Prices vary: $1.99-$6.99.

Sprout & Pour uses the Norwalk Cold-Press Juicer to deliver juice naturally safe to drink while preserving all of the crucial vitamins, enzymes and nutrients. Without sacrificing quality or consistency, the Sprout & Pour team offers the perfect balance of raw ingredients and fresh flavors in each bottle. With oversight by a registered dietician and local doctors, all recipes are safe,  ealthy, vegan and never heated.

The Turners envision Sprout & Pour will serve as a conversation starter in Birmingham about the raw and whole foods movement. Plus, it can help local businesses incorporate wellness into the workplace.

"While there are a lot of juices available today, Sprout & Pour is really something different, locally hand-packaged, sourced, operated and accessible," said Andrew Turner, Co-Owner and CO of Sprout&Pour.
