Global Resorts Network Review
Below is the original article I wrote… but first… my important update:
MY GLOBAL RESORTS NETWORK UPDATE 1/1/2014:
Global Resorts Network had many changes in 2013 in membership pricing, affiliate structure and was put under new management.
With all the changes it made, it no longer has the exclusive rights to market the travel club online whichh opened opportunities for new affiliate opportunities.
To clarify, Global Resorts Network is not the travel provider, nor are the other affiliates. The affiliates simply have the right to market the product online. Customers cannot purchase the membership unless they go through and affiliate (representative).
Thus, I moved my affiliation from Global Resorts Network to GAAB™ Travel International in January of 2014. It was a fabulous decision and I can better serve my customers in a professional and joyful way and of course, I sitll use my lifetime travel club membership.
I still offer the same travel club membership, just under the new affiliate arm.
If you're interested in learning about the travel club or the affiliate program, please reach out to me. I am happy to answer all your questions and provide you the customer service you deserve.
I love doing one on one tours to show people all the benefits.

The travel club membership is outstanding and continues to offer red carpet service.
I have to say, purchasing this membership has been the single most greatest purchase I've made for my family in terms of travel.
And it continues to be a great income stream as I refer this membership to others.
I'd love to welcome you to GAAB™ Travel International.
Let me know what I can do for you, what information you need, and what questions you have. I have a lifetime membership and have been a member since 2007 so there's not much I'm not familiar with.
It's the perfect timeshare alternative.
It's the perfect opportunity for families to travel more and create more memories.

Global Resorts Network Review
Having been a member of GRN since 2007 here is my official Global Resorts Network Review.
Global Resorts Network was established in 2006 as the exclusive marketing arm for the travel provider offering a luxury resort membership to the public. The membership has been in existence since 1986.
The name of the membership vendor is not disclosed in this review as it violates policies and procedures. It is a well known, highly respected giant in the travel, resort and timeshare industry.
Global Resorts company was headquartered first 22601 N. 17th Ave. Suite 230, Phoenix, AZ 85027. I personally went to the home office of GRN on two occasions. I have met Al Morales, the founder and CEO of Global Resorts Network along with the staff who have been with the company since its inception.
When Mark Hoverson became co-owner, the office was closed and it's operations went to virtual office.
There have been many changes in membership pricing, affiliate structure and management, especially in 2013.
Global Resorts Network has been missed-named by some as Global Resort Networks, Global Resorts Networks, Global Vacations Network and Global Resort Network. The actual name of the company is Global Resorts Network LLC.

BENEFITS OF OWNING THE GLOBAL RESORTS NETWORK MEMBERSHIP
1) Members have the privilege and ability to stay in 3, 4, and 5 star luxury time share resorts in over 5,000 locations worldwide.
You are not buying a timeshare, but rather a travel club membership which gives you access to them for wholesale weeks.
The savings to members is quite significant and in fact, they recoup the cost of the entire membership after using it 1-3 times.
Some of the resorts in the registry allow the public to stay at non-member pricing with a one-time retail week while others do not.
So in come cases, the only way to stay at these luxury timeshare resorts is to own the GRN membership or own the timeshare itself.
A luxury resort has been defined as follows:
The membership offers 3, 4 and some 5 star properties.
You'll find resorts that face world class golf courses, breathtaking views of the mountains, lakes and beaches.
Unit Features vary but here's a list:
- Fully equipped kitchens
- Living rooms with sleeper sofas
- studio, 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms
- 1, 2, and 3 baths
- Some have fireplaces
- Most have in-unit laundry
- Balconies with views
- Pools, hot tubs, and barbecues
- Family and children activities
- Fitness Centers
- Bikes and game rooms
- In House Theaters
- On site restaurants
- Laundry facilities if not in
2) No annual fees
3) No taxes
4) No maintenance fees or upkeep
5) Unlimited use (based on your membership type purchase)
6) No blackout dates
7) Transferable and willable (each membership is good for 100 years)
The only costs you will pay after the purchase of your membership are for the actual trips you take. ($398-$799)
I have used the Global Resorts Network Membership myself and have been very happy with the way in which I was treated through customer service. It genuinely is red carpet service.

Booking Resort Stays
Members make their reservations by logging into their secured online membership platform.
They can search the registry for listings of resorts worldwide.
Members have access to communicate via phone and email directly with customer service.
Searching for and selecting resort stays is easy to do. All the information is provided to the member including the name and location of the resort, resort and unit amenities, things to do onsite and offsite, the weather for the area, directions from the airport and all terms and conditions.
Once members have decided on a resort, finishing up their reservation takes just a minute through one of two ways.
1) By selecting from a list of resorts who have published the exact dates each has available, how many people the unit sleeps and what the total cost is. In this case, the member may reserve and pay for it instantly through PayPal.
2) By requesting a stay at a specific resort but don’t see specific dates available or any that match that of the members’ needs. In this case, customer service goes to work immediately to accommodate them.
If the vendor is unable to confirm the member’s dates for a specific resort, the member will be provided with other choices of resorts in the city/town/area they want to travel. They will have the option to accept or decline any offer. The vendor works diligently to accommodate its members to affect a satisfactory outcome.
Either way, members receive all confirmation and travel documents which they are able to print off safely through their communication and reservation center in the travel club back office which can be accessed from anywhere in the world.
Member pricing for the resort stays range from $398 and cap at $799 (most cap at $698) which includes 7 nights and 8 days accommodations. The cost of the resort stays is the actual lodging and most often taxes as well.
In some areas of the world a member will be required to pay a resort tax but there are never any surprises before the member books. All fees (if any) are disclosed before the member confirms their final reservations.
There are some all-inclusive resorts offered in the membership as well. If a member reserves these, there will be all-inclusive fees, of course.

Global Resorts Network Review
Business Opportunity
A member can choose to simply own the membership or may, in addition, also choose to also become an Affiliate and refer others. When they sell a membership, they earn a commission.
A customer ONLY member pays no additional yearly fees.
An Affiliate member does. With Global Resorts Network, they have changed their affiliate fees so I don't know what they are at this point.
The Global Resorts Network Compensation Plan has also changed so I'm not able to provide information as to the commissions earned.
