4 Words That Say It All

4 Words That Say It All

When you think about starting a home based business, there’s a lot of things that can go through your mind which you can justify for not taking steps to get started.

But here’s the thing my friend, you have one life to live.  You were created with a God-given purpose and made so uniquely that only you can be the person to bring the energy of your dream into the lives of others and bless them.

If you have a dream to start a business, you have everything you need.

Consider These 4 Words

RISK:  Risk more than others think is safe.

It’s astonishing to me that someone would not get started in some capacity toward their dream when anyone can start a business for as little as $100 a month.  To me, this is not even risk.

  • People spend $100 a month on TV programming.
  • They spend another $100 on fast food.
  • They spend another $100 a month on junk food to eat front of the TV.
  • They spend another $100 a month on Starbucks and magazines.

If you were going to take out a loan or use your retirement funds to start a brick and mortar, then that’s risk.  If you have a good business plan and have done your research and know you have a viable business, then you have a good shot.

But starting a home based business where you can share your talents, gifts, passions with others and get paid for your value, you can do that for as little as $100 a month, this is not risk.  And if you label $100 a month ‘risk’ money, you should stay with your job which is a true risk to your future.

What else can you risk?  Your ego.

Nobody wants to fail or be rejected or laughed at for going after our dreams.  So the way to fix this is two fold.

1)  Become strong in your mindset and beliefs about what you want to do, and can do.  You can do anything you decide to do.  Stay in personal development through reading, listening to audio, avoiding negative people and having a plan when someone jerks your dreams and puts you down.  Don’t receive it into your spirit.  Reject it.

2)  Make a decision that you will succeed.  Set goals but you can move your timeline any time you want.  Success is not a destination, it’s a journey.  No matter how long it takes or what you have to do, you will succeed.  You will have your dreams.

CARE:  Care more than others think is wise.

Nobody is going to care about your dreams like you.  You have carried your dreams inside of you, you’ve talked to them, you’ve thought about them and you’ve nurtured them.  Now you’re acting on them.  Others will want to push you back because they don’t care like you care about your life, even though they may say they do.

When you have work to do in your business, and others want to pull you away to go do something, or they interrupt your working time, or they say, “ah, c’mon, you can do that later”, you have to make a decision to care enough to do what it takes to get the job done.  Others won’t like it and they’ll think your foolish.  But you know better.

Dream Big, Set Goals, Take Action

DREAM:  Dream more than others think is practical.

Dream big baby!  Here’s the cool thing about God.  When He gives you a dream, it’s His plans for YOU!  It’s not His plans for someone else!

So nobody else is capable of understanding your dream and it makes sense for others to tell you your crazy.

They don’t get it.

They don’t understand it.

They can’t see it.

If you grasp this, then you’ll see why others are so quick to call you a dreamer and get your heads out of the clouds.

Keep your heads IN the clouds and soar!

EXPECT:  Expect more than others think is possible.

You have made a decision to start your business.

You care more than anyone else about your business.

You have a vision and a dream that God has given you to share that which he gave you with the world,

Expect success.

Others will tell you you can’t do it.

You know you can.

Each day wake up and expect good things to happen.

Expect new connections, new growth, new sales.

Stay in expectation, every day.

Even if success hasn’t manifested yet, it will when you show up daily and consistently do the things necessary to grow yourself and your business.

I hope you enjoyed reading this article and take to heart these four words with you today.

Go Get Your Dreams!
